Biography

• 1994: graduated with MSc from JagiellonianUniversity, Krakow, Poland (MSc thesis in: "Heavy metals in small mammals from three different forest areas in Poland").
• 2004: graduated with PhD from University of Podlasie (PhD thesis in: "A revision of the group Diolenieae (Araneae: Salticidae)").
• From 1995: employed in the Department of Zoology, University Natural Sciences and Humanities, Siedlce, Poland.

Research interests

• taxonomy and biogeography of Salticidae (Arachnida: Araneae) of the Australian and Oriental Regions.

Research projects

• Grant No N N303 416437 of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education: “Evolution and history of distribution of the Salticidae faunas from the Western Pacific Region"
